Washington

It was so nice to visit everyone in Washington this year. Case, Miles and I were there for 2 1/2 weeks but it still seemed like we didn't have enough time there! And Case got a little confused with all the different grandpas' and grandmas' that he visited. We had a fun time. We were able to see a lot of Rylan this time because Brandon and Britt and the other kids went to Florida for a week, so Case and Miles had a good time playing with him. In fact Miles got a break from Case teasing since he turned his focus mostly on Rylan (poor boy. lol) Here are Miles and Rylan enjoying some delicious snowman pancakes.

We were able to see a lot of family. Of course I didn't take pictures but we had a good time visiting with Millard and Darren and Tessa and Chad and Hillarie and their family (no pictures though). Here we are at my parents home with Brandon and Brittany and family opening presents on Christmas Eve.

No pictures of any grandparents, unfortunately. Here is Case and Miles opening present on Christmas day at the Christensens'.

We stayed at a cabin at Priest Lake for a week with Bryce' family a got to snowmobile a bit. Unfortunately, we didn't get any snow and it rained for several days instead so Bryce didn't get to snowmobile as much as he would have wanted but we still had a nice relaxing week (minus how cranky my two boys were the entire time!!) Case did have a good time playing and bossing Darcy and sure misses all of his cousins every day.

Drew and Darcy

This is how Miles felt about snowmobiling. He calmed down a little after we started going.

Uncle Drew spent some time outside building a very cool fort with a cave and window and a slide with steps. Case and Darcy had some good times playing out in the snow and fort together.

Christmas Comes Early

We decided that since we will be gone for Christmas this year we would have two Christmas days and open up the presents that couldn't be taken to Washington. Basically I am only bringing their stockings and one present and those took up enough space. Our first Christmas was this last Sunday so that Bryce could be here with us since he works such crazy hours during the week.

That evening we had our friends over Nate, Chelsea and their kids Broden and Allison to build gingerbread houses. It was really fun but I don't think I will make my own gingerbread again. I'm not sure it was worth all the work...probably will just stick with the kits from now on. Case ate about the same amount of candy that he put on the house but that's all the fun, right? He did a really good job decorating with a bit of help from me...

Have a very merry Christmas everyone!! We are very excited to be going to Washington and visiting with all our family!

Super Case

Do you think he might like to find these in his stocking this year? I think he may just never take them off...we will see.

I also made these animal masks. Case loves to pretend and has a huge imagination so I think he will LOVE these. (All ideas are from Pinterest of course.)

Happenings

You all will be happy to know that the mustache is gone hopefully not to return anytime soon. Haha. But before Bryce shaved it all off he sported the  "Zorro" for a few days. He always does the funniest faces with his stache. He is very happy to be able to shave it off!

We decorated our Christmas tree recently and Case loved doing that. He has been telling me everyday that he wants it to be Christmas time and he wants to fly on the airplane to Grandma's house. And actually Miles has surprisingly left the tree alone for the most part.

Case is very proud of being able to put the ornaments on the tree by himself.

We had another snowstorm yesterday and of course Case had to go play in it. We went out while Miles was napping since he still isn't a huge fan of the cold snow...he likes to eat it though. Which shouldn't be a surprise :) We made a snowman, a dozen snow angels, a rocking chair and several types of vehicles including a car, race car, tow truck, and a hose and hook a ladder truck.

Movember

Bryce is participating along with the majority of his co-workers in Movember. So he is growing a mustache to help in awareness for Prostate cancer and trying to earn money for the cause. He has a website if you all would like to check it out and maybe even give to this important cause.

Check out his page at http://mobro.co/bchristensen.

Case loves it and wants to grow one of his own very badly!

Christmas Decor

I've started making my Christmas decorations already. I found a ton that I want to do on Pinterest and the first one I decided to do was a Christmas tree skirt. It turned out to be fairly simple to make but a bit time consuming mostly because I had to learn how to do some new things as well as reading my sewing machine manual to do those things.

Case thought it should be worn like this.
