18 month Stats and News

Case insisted one day to wear an apron while I cooked dinner. I’m thinking he may be needing a kitchen with all the accessories very soon because I’m not sure this is the best look for him! Here are Case’s new stats. We were all amazed that Case didn’t make a peep with his shots this time around...I’m not even sure he noticed what we were doing!

Height: 34 1/2 cm
Weight: 29 LBS 6 OZ
Head: 50 1/2 cm

Also, we have news...

My due date is September 27th so I’m about 3 months along. We can hardly wait to see if it is a boy or girl but I think we all know what it will be! And to see if the baby will have red hair too!

Case is really loving his trucks and cars lately; basically, he enjoys anything with wheels. He is such a boy and very active lately. He has several dump trucks that he particularly likes and fills them over and over with block and dumps them out. I’m thinking we aren’t too far off from a bedroom full of huge Tonka trucks. Here is a short video with Case with one of his trucks. I hope everyone can view it.

Loving Darcy and Random Sleeping

For the first week we were in Washington Case didn’t give Darcy much attention, but as he got a bit more use to her he was so cute with her. He loved to help by giving her toys or finding her blankets or trying to feed her. Or sometimes he would just lay on top of her and give her kisses like the picture above. It was pretty cute.

So, the other day I was on the phone and I notice that Case has taken the cushion off the ottoman and is just laying on top of it. I thought surely not...but yes a few minutes later he had fallen asleep. This is so odd to me because Case has never fallen asleep anywhere except his bed. He is like his momma that way. I had to take a few pics of the momentous occasion.

And yes, he slept this way for 1 1/2 hours.

Christmas 2009

So, I forgot to take pics this year. I have a few select pics and they aren’t the greatest. Here are few pics of Case opening presents...he has finally figured out how that works and that there is usually something fun inside so we had to rewrap a few gifts before Christmas.

I forgot to take any pics of visiting with the Allen family but we did have a great time visiting my parents for a few days and were able to see the progress Chad and Hillarie have made on their home. It was fun to see everyone.

Then we spent some time at a cabin in Cle Elem and had fun in the snow. There wasn’t too much this year but it was still fun to snowmobile and take Case out on his first sled ride. He loves the snow...but not so much his snow gear!

And Case on his his sled ride...we had so much fun! Thanks Neil and Becky for a great week!

I forgot to take a pictures today so I found this old one. Case really likes to “help” Bryce work on his bikes. Bryce think he has a future pro cyclist in the making.

To save my sanity and hopefully help me to be able to cook in peace, I bought Case a set of pans for himself. So far so good...
